21 Days of Prayer & Fasting Commitment Form

We will begin the year by challenging our church family to pray, fast, and seek God together. This Spiritual Commitment Form is a tool designed to help you take intentional steps of faith during this sacred season.

As a church family, we are pursuing God together—asking Him to move in our lives, stretch our faith, and give us clarity on how West Point Church can impact our community for His glory.

On this form, you’ll find simple opportunities to grow spiritually through prayer, Bible reading, fasting, and gathering with others. Please take a moment to prayerfully consider each commitment you will make during these 21 days as we pursue God together.

My fasting commitment:

Pause to Pray

Set a daily reminder or alarm and pause to pray with the West Point Church family. This simple act keeps us united as we seek God’s direction, wisdom, and power throughout this season of prayer and fasting.

Daily Bible Reading

Commit to reading our 21 day devotional each day . Allow God’s Word to shape your thoughts, strengthen your faith, and guide your prayers during the fast.

Corporate Prayer Gatherings

Join the West Point Church family for corporate prayer every Wednesday at 6:00 PM on the following dates:

  • January 7

  • January 14

  • January 21

  • January 28

These gatherings are a powerful opportunity to pray in unity, encourage one another, and align our hearts with God’s will.

21-Day Progressive Fast

As part of our 21 Days of Prayer, we invite you to participate in a progressive fast. This means that each week builds upon the previous week, and whatever you remove remains removed for the remainder of the fast.

Fasting Schedule:

  • Week 1: No sweets or artificial sugars

  • Week 2: Continue Week 1 and remove all breads and bread products

  • Week 3: Continue Weeks 1 & 2 and remove all meat

Choose to commit as you are able, using wisdom and prayer. The purpose of fasting is to draw closer to God and deepen our dependence on Him. By completing this form, you are committing to this fast.

Note

If you happen to fail at any moment during our 21-day Prayer, Fast, and Devotion, don’t be
discouraged. Get back on track and keep going. God’s mercies are new every morning. He will give you the grace and strength to keep moving, so don’t quit!
